1
Keep the Bandage On for 2 days:
We will cover your new tattoo with a bandage or plastic wrap to protect it from bacteria. Leave this on for the recommended time, usually a few days to 3 days.
2
Clean with Mild Soap and Water after taking the bandage off
Gently clean the tattoo with mild, fragrance-free soap and lukewarm water. Use your fingers to remove any ointment, blood, or plasma. Avoid using a washcloth or anything abrasive.
3
Pat and Dry with a Clean Towel:
After cleaning, pat the tattoo dry with a clean, soft towel. Do not rub it, as this can irritate the skin.
4
Apply an Antibacterial Ointment or Moisturizer
After drying, apply a thin layer of an ointment cream or a tattoo aftercare product. This helps keep the tattoo moisturized and protects it from infection. Repeat this process several times a day for the first few days.
5
Avoid Picking or Scratching
It's normal for your tattoo to itch as it heals, but resist the urge to scratch or pick at it. Doing so can damage the tattoo and increase the risk of infection.
6
Avoid Sun Exposure
Keep your tattoo out of direct sunlight during the initial healing period, and use sunscreen on it once it has healed to prevent fading.
